Art Club
Grades K-5
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:15-5:15 p.m.
Spring Tuesdays: 1/11-5/17 $360
Spring Thursdays: 1/13-5/19 $300
Ms. Esther will lead students through a variety of upcycled art projects. In an effort to get the most out of what we have already used and to throw away less, students will think creatively about how to reuse materials in a variety of art projects. Students will make sculptures, build environments, create characters, and learn about artists around the world who are exploring the myriad ways that humans can be mindful of the environment by reusing materials in art rather than throwing them away.
Capped at 16 students; minimum 6 to run. Ms. Esther requests that families don't sign up for both days, so that others can join.

OHDS offers a three-season year for our student athletes: cross country in the fall (September-November), a boys and a girls basketball team in the winter (November-March), and a co-ed ultimate frisbee or volleyball team in the spring (depending on student interest) (March-May). OHDS is a member of the Bay Area Middle School Sports League.
Our middle school athletics programs builds student health and wellness, complements OHDS' academics, and builds our core middot: kindness, gratitude, resilience, respect, responsibility, self-control, perseverance, curiosity, and integrity. We encourage students of all athletic abilities to join, to build skills, good health, and fun.
