After-School Clubs

OHDS boasts a broad after-school club program that appeals to the interests of our students and the needs of our parents.  Club selection changes each semester with at least two programs and homework club offered each day.  After-school clubs are offered Monday through Thursday for extended hours.  The Homework Club gives our students a chance to focus on their homework with teacher support and supervision.  Clubs have included Martial Arts, Mad Science, Chess, CD making, Carpentry, Tennis, Drama, Cooking, Choir, Music Exploration, Clay Design and much more.  Future clubs are created by our after-school coordinator with the input of students, faculty and families.

For more information regarding OHDS After-School Clubs, please contact Izzy Betancourt, Club Coordinator, at 510-531-8600, ext. 12 or via e-mail at ibetancourt@ohds.org.

"OHDS not only taught our child to live and understand the middot (values) of respect and loving kindness, but the faculty and staff modeled that respect in the way they taught our child both in and out of the classroom.  The Kindergarten teachers are especially gifted at nurturing both the mind and soul of the child."
