Bethany Strulowitz Bethany Strulowitz began teaching middle school Judaic Studies at Oakland Hebrew Day School in 2005. She recently moved to San Francisco from Houston, TX, where she taught middle school and high school Judaic Studies. In Houston, she frequently lectured for the greater Jewish community at various seminars and conferences. Bethany also lived in Israel for two years prior where she taught at several post-high school seminaries. Her time spent in Israel inculcated her with a deep love for the land and people of Israel that she tries to instill in her classes. For over ten years, Bethany has been involved in both formal and informal educational programs for adolescents and adults. Bethany completed her Masters degree in Jewish Education from Azrieli Graduate School for Jewish Education. She earned double BA’s in Psychology and Judaic Studies from Stern College of Yeshiva University. Bethany and her husband, Rabbi Joshua Strulowitz of Congregation Adath Israel in San Francisco, are the proud parents of two adorable and active young daughters. |
