Tania Schweig Beginning working in special education in 1995 and in OHDS in 2000, Tania Schweig continues to enjoy the unique challenges and triumphs of supporting children with learning differences. Tania's previous experiences ranged from working in a non-public school for emotionally disturbed children to teaching public school special day classes. The opportunity to build and develop the OHDS Resource Program was both the professional and communal commitment that Tania had been searching for. To work in a strong Jewish setting with a serious professional team committed to supporting children with learning differences is literally a dream come true. With a B.A. in Sociology from UC Berkeley and a Masters and Credential in Special Education from USF, Tania has greatly appreciated the opportunity to further her professional development, most recently through an intensive training and practicum with Dr. Mel Levine's Schools Attuned program. This training has given her new tools and insights to support her vision of success for every child. Tania also continues to learn and grow through the experience of being a parent of OHDS students. It has been a delight for her to witness her fellow teachers inspiring and nurturing her own children! |
