Rabbi Jason Rozen

Rabbi Jason Rozen received a BA in History from Yeshiva University in New York. He received his MA in Jewish education from Azrieli Graduate School. He also received his Rabbinical Ordination from RIETS (Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary) in New York. Jason was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived for a short time in Israel. Before moving to California in 2004, Jason taught Judaic Studies in Westchester Day School and Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy. Even before entering the classroom, Jewish education has been a passion of his. Jason has spent many summers teaching in Camp Moshava, served as a dorm counselor and mentor in Yeshiva University High School for Boys, and a dorm counselor in Yeshivat Reishit Yerushalayim in Israel. Jason also worked as a youth director in the Riverdale Jewish Center in Riverdale, New York. Jason is currently the youth director in Beth Jacob Congregation in Oakland, CA.
