Dana Hyman
Kindergarten, General Studies

Starting in 2005, Dana Hyman is the general studies kindergarten teacher at Oakland Hebrew Day School.  She enjoys working with and learning from the OHDS faculty, parents, and student body.  Dana graduated Cum Laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.   Following work in both Washington D.C. and Chicago, she decided to return to school to get her Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary and Middle School Education from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. The majority of Dana's training has been working with children in K-3. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.  Dana is looking forward to meeting all of the kindergarteners and their families.
