OHDS boasts a broad after-school club program that appeals to the interests of our students as well as the needs of our parents. Club selection changes each session with at least two extracurricular clubs--in addition to Homework Club and Supervised Play--offered each day. After school clubs are offered Monday through Thursday until 5:45pm and are split into 5 6-8 week sessions. Past clubs have included Martial Arts, Mad Science, Chess, CD making, Carpentry, Tennis, Drama, Cooking, Choir, Music Exploration, Clay Design and much more. Clubs are added by our After School Clubs Coordinator with the input of students, faculty and parents. The After School Clubs also organizes OHDS’s annual school play in which over 50 students in 1st – 8th grades participate each year. Past plays have included The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, Into the Woods, and The Music Man.
